Alistair Kyte

Senior Consultant

akyte@lexpr.com

As a former journalist on the hospitality beat, Alistair knows about great service. After graduating from the University of Western Ontario, Alistair went straight to work in publishing, with his last job as managing editor of both Foodservice and Hospitality Magazine and Hotelier Magazine.

During his seven years as a writer and magazine editor, he penned and edited hundreds of stories about food and restaurants, wine, beer and spirits, and the world of hotels and resorts. Need a restaurant, bar or hotel recommendation in Canada? He’s your man. Alistair was also a regular contributor to national magazines and online publications, covering all topics related to men’s lifestyle, with a focus on style, sex, health, music, spirits and sports.

Now Alistair has brought his expertise — and what he’d like to think is a sophisticated palate — to LexPR, where he’s worked on a well-stocked bar of wine and spirits brands, including: Perrier-Jouët, Campo Viejo, Stoneleigh, Lillet, Jameson, Havana Club, Wiser’s, Chivas Regal, Stolichnaya and ABSOLUT, to name a few. Alistair co-leads the HBO Home Entertainment account, the Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment account, and is currently working on launching the new Henderson Brewing Company in Toronto. He also participates on the Shoppers Drug Mart file as well as the Baanto file. Alistair also assists on all corporate communications projects at LexPR as well as new business development.

Alistair enjoys fitness, quality time with his dog Cleo, loves to cook (and eat) and is a zealous traveller. He thinks it’s important that you know he once rode a camel named Carlos in Egypt and, if you ask nicely, he may show you a photo.
