With a pen in one hand and a hammer in the other, Sherry is always building…something. Whether it’s renovating her home or finding creative client solutions, Sherry’s strategic sixth sense means she’s able to cut through the clutter, identify the best opportunities and build out killer PR campaigns.
With more than 15 years of experience in marketing and communications, largely in the areas of tourism, entertainment and consumer goods, Sherry is LexPR’s resident strategist. Sherry’s diverse career includes years as a radio broadcaster and producer in the realm of news and information programming, live theatre marketing and development with Drayton Entertainment, and a five-year role as Manager of Media Relations & Sponsorship at Ontario Place. Prior to joining LexPR, Sherry also developed national live entertainment and sponsorship programs for Kidomo Inc. in conjunction with Treehouse Live and HIT Entertainment Canada.
As LexPR’s matchmaker, Sherry brings partners together strategically and effectively in order to deliver comprehensive, multi-faceted marketing programs that encompass special events, sponsorship, promotions and PR campaigns. While at LexPR, Sherry’s client experience includes ABSOLUT Vodka, Bio-Oil, Perimeter Institute, Quanser, The Rogers Chinese Lantern Festival, Shoppers Drug Mart, Soap & Glory, Vitamints and Zipcar.
Sherry also has a passion for volunteerism. She has spent several vacations volunteering at an orphanage in Kenya and continues to support this and other children’s charities.
